Hi everyone, 

I want to thank the voting membership of the chapter for allowing me the honor of serving as President of the Nation’s Capital Chef’s Association. 

Moving forward, I will be working to build some common events with the Greater Baltimore Chapter, starting with their event on Monday, March 23rd at Halpern’s Steak and Seafood. The long-term goal is to create a competition or something similar. The anchor for the middle of the year is set with the golf tournament. Please see the website or newsletter (preferably both) for details. I would like you all to consider one thing, and that’s when is the last time you cooked something (not at home) because you wanted to, not because you had to. This can be anything from a menu special, an item at a tasting for a new or seasonal menu, brunch, Easter or Mother’s Day, just cooking for the love of the game.
